things i’m learning from being around the boys that hang at my house…
… comfort is found from insulting eachother and pushing the line with crude humor until someone is nearly shocked. laughter then ensues.
… as long as it’s edible, it’s a snack.
… food is the way to their hearts.
… as much as they wouldn’t admit it, they do enjoy glancing in the mirrors and taking photos of themselves. yep – i see it guys. why do you think we have so many mirrors?
… they check out girls without thinking twice. it’s not a weird, inappropriate thing. it’s more like … “hey there’s a girl. yup … she has a butt, chest and face.”
… they’re ok with a bit of a stinky funk. it’s kinda a “guy thing.” sometimes i wonder if they purposefully get stinky just to get that “look.”
… calories are the least of their concerns when they sit to eat. hunger and the amount of spices around is what matters more.
… they don’t have those pseudo-friendships that a lot of girls have (i’m guilty of it myself). if they are having an issue with someone, they either solve the problem, or just give eachother space. they don’t really put on the fake, everything’s cool face.
… some of them really do like chick-flicks. they just don’t want all of the ribbing from others, so they’ll rarely admit it.
… the single ones … they value love and women as much as any girl would dream they should. i pray for these guys, that the right, amazing, complimentary woman will come along side of them and, in essence, complete them in the way they know they need it. these boys are deserving of the very best …
